The 422 Pantry supports families and individuals who are referred to us because they are experiencing food poverty. As members they make a £1 membership contribution and receive 10 items of food and essentials each week for three months.
We’re inviting referrals for the 422 Community Pantry! If you work with people in Longsight and Ardwick experiencing food poverty, we would love to hear from you and make an invitation to potential new members mvuk.org/422pantry.
You can donate unopened, in-date, ambient food or essential items to the Pantry:
- Give through our Amazon Prime Wishlist. Items can be delivered directly to 422!
- Drop items off at Manchester Vineyard’s Sunday venue every Sunday
Adding on a couple of items from the list below to your weekly shop and donating them for someone experiencing food poverty, would be incredibly helpful. Many of our families choose to eat Halal food and so we avoid pork-based items. We’ll keep this list updated:

- Sweet tinned items: Fruit, rice pudding
